I find it alright. 1) Lauren didn’t hit Leo so he had to apologize anyways. Leo pushed her and stole the ballon. Like Lauren was just chillin’ with her ballon and Leo got aggressive 2) Often times when boys are physically aggressive like that, even at a young age, people dismiss it as “boys will be boys”… so it’s good that Seungho did that, in my opinion.

Yeah, I mean I’m a little iffy about phrasing it as “boys must always be the ones to apologize to girls”, but in this case Leo was behaving badly. I’m sure that if Lauren had hit Leo, Seungho or one of the other members would have had him apologize. It’s just that so far, Leo has been the only one to hit other people (that I remember). We’ll have to see how the show continues, but I’m sure that if Lauren or Dayoung hit somebody, they will be told to apologize as well. And Genesis made an excellent point about how it’s often framed as “oh, boys will be boys, whatever!” And that’s intensely problematic. That sentiment isn’t just contained to children being aggressive towards other children; I’ve heard it about adult men as well. And that needs to stop.
