Anonymous asked: Do you think that the rampant crossdressing in Kpop is offensive? What makes crossdressing okay to do when one is not transexual? I'm wondering about this because of two situations of crossdressing (Infinite's Hyuna and Black Butler's Ciel). In Black Butler, it's comedic, but it's for a reason and is an important part of that story. However, in Infinite's situation, it's comedic for sure but there doesn't seem to be a reason for it. Does there need to be a reason for it or is it all in good fun?

Uh… no. There really shouldn’t be limits put on what kind of clothes you can wear, trans or cis. Why do you need a reason to cross dress beyond just simply wanting to? I’d think that cross dressing is a positive thing because it forces people to look outside the set binary roles. Especially when it’s a guy dressing as a girl. I mean it can be iffy sometimes if cross dressing humor is used to shame but these two situations pretty much seem like they were out of good fun.

I’m in the opinion that everyone should cross dress at least once.
